  With thess account types, you can use Netscape, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Eudora Light, and other popular point-and-click programs to access the Internet. We are capable of handling modem connections up to 33.6K bps with these dial-up accounts, and up to 56K bps provided you have a k56flex-compatible modem.

  Do you want to publish your own home page on the World Wide Web? If so, sign up for our NetMaster account, which includes a Unix shell account with 5 megabytes of disk space. If not, sign up for our NetSurfer account which does not include this optional feature.

  Please be advised: Macintosh users must have System Software 7.5 installed. If you are running an earlier version, you must either upgrade to System 7.5, or purchase the MacTCP control panel separately. If you have any questions about this, please send e-mail to support@netquest.net.

  If your company desires a presence on the web, or if you intend to sell anything on your web page, you will need to sign up for this account type. This account includes a PPP connection, plus a shell account. Account features are the same as listed above, except that your shell account will be set up with 10 megabytes of disk space.

  • Your own URL: http://www.netquest.net/yournamehere/
  • No additional per-megabyte traffic charges are imposed at this time
  • Additional disk space available for $2 per megabyte per month
  • Pricing:
    • $40.00 setup fee
    • $40.00 per month, or

• Virtual hosting accounts

  This account is designed for companies and organizations who would like to be known by their own unique domain name on the Internet. The domain name you choose can be used for your own web site, anonymous FTP site, and for e-mail. (Please note that a separate $100 charge will be imposed by Internic, the agency which allocates domain names, for the use of the domain name you choose for two years.)

  Account Features:

  • Your own URL: http://www.yournamehere.com/
  • Your own anonymous FTP site at ftp://www.yournamehere.com/
  • An unlimited number of virtual e-mail addresses using the domain name you select (ie, sales@yournamehere.com, webmaster@yournamehere.com, yourname@yournamehere.com)
  • Up to five free Email-only accounts for employees and associates
  • A single PPP account and UNIX shell account is included in this package
  • The ability to create and maintain your own web site via telnet or FTP
  • The ability to author and run your own CGI scripts or Java scripts
  • No additional per-megabyte traffic charges are imposed at this time
  • 15 megabytes of disk space is provided to host your web site and/or FTP site
  • Additional disk space available for $2 per megabyte per month
  • Pricing:
